Vice Chairman Ding Yuanlong holds Working Meeting with Virasac Somphong, Consul General of the Consulate General of Lao PDR in Nanning

On June 18th, 2021, Ding Yuanlong, Vice Chairman of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Guangxi Committee and Deputy Secretary-General of the China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit (CABIS) Secretariat, and Virasac Somphong, Consul General of the Consulate General of Lao PDR in Nanning, held a working meeting. The two sides discussed the cooperation in preparing the 18th CABIS and the bilateral economic and trade events under its framework.

Vice Chairman Ding Yuanlong extended his gratitude to the Consulate General of Lao PDR in Nanning for its strong support for CABIS, introduced the proposals and preparations for the 18th CABIS, and exchanged in-depth views with the Consul General focusing on the preparations for China-Laos bilateral economic and trade events.

Consul General Virasac Somphong said, Laos remains the Country of Honour this year, and the Consulate General in Nanning will continue its support for the success of CABIS and make contributions to the upgrade of bilateral economic and trade cooperation.
