On the afternoon of July 18, 2017, Chairperson of CCPIT Guangxi Committee He Xiaoling met with Consul General of the Consulate General of Nepal in Guangzhou Ravi Bhattarai and his delegation in CCPIT Guangxi Committee.

Chairperson He introduced the 14th CABIS activities, the function of CCPIT Guangxi Committee serving as the Liaison Office of East Asia Business Council and the development of China-ASEAN cross-border e-commerce.

Consul General Batalai introduced the preferential policies of trade and investment, local business environment, specialties, and the development of e-commerce in Nepal. He was greatly interested in the China-ASEAN e-commerce platform in the framework of CABIS and hoped to promote China-Nepal bilateral import and export trade through it. He also proposed to hold Nepal’s economic and trade promotion activities during the 14th CABIS in order to encourage Guangxi enterprises to invest in Nepal and jointly accelerate the bilateral economic and trade development.

The two sides also exchanged views on future economic and trade cooperation.
