The Kingdom of Thailand, abbreviated as Thailand, spans 513,000 square kilometers, with Bangkok as its capital. It is located in the south-central part of the Indochinese Peninsula, at the center of ASEAN, with the Gulf of Thailand in its southeast and the Andaman Sea in its southwest. The country is bordered by Myanmar to its west and northwest, Laos to its northeast, Cambodia to its east, and Malaysia to its south. It has obvious advantages in terms of location. Most of the country has a tropical monsoon climate, divided into three seasons: hot, rainy and cool, with an average temperature of 27. Thai is the national language, more than 90% of the people believe in Buddhism, the Malays believe in Islam, and a few people believe in Christianity, Catholicism, Hinduism and Sikhism. On July 1, 1975, China established diplomatic relations with Thailand.
