Chairman Li Changguan Pays a Courtesy Call on Indonesian Trade Minister Enggartiasto Lukita and Talks with Ambassador of Indonesia to China

On 19th July, 2019, Chairman Li Changguan and his delegation of China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit (CABIS) Secretariat paid a courtesy call on the Indonesian Trade Minister Enggartiasto Lukita in Beijing. Both sides exchanged their views on strengthening the cooperation and jointly convening the 16thCABIS.
Chairman Li appreciated the Ministry of Trade Republic of Indonesia for their support to the Summit. Apart from introducing the 16th CABIS and the planned China-Indonesia bilateral economic and trade events in the framework, Chairman Li will cooperate with the Indonesian Ministry of Trade for co-hosting relevant activities.
Lukita stated that Ministry of Trade Republic of Indonesia highly values CABIS and the related events. As the Country of Honor this year, Indonesia will fully support the convening of the 16th CABIS.


Chairman Li Changguan discussed with Djauhari Oratmangun, the Indonesian Ambassador to China. Both sides exchanged views on the preparation of the 16th CABIS and the bilateral economic and trade activities between China and Indonesia of the Summit.
Chairman Li expressed the gratitude to the Indonesian Embassy to China for their long-term support, and introduced the 17 activities based on four key sections of the 16th Summit: namely new business strategic vision brought by BRI, practical cooperation of the updated CAFTA, new modes, industries, and opportunities generated by the new round of industrial transformation, platform value of CABIS. Both sides exchanged their views on the preparation of Round-table Dialogue between State Leader of the Republic of Indonesia and CEOs from China.
Ambassador Djauhari Oratmangun said that, Guangxi, as a hub for China and ASEAN, plays an important role in promoting the economic and trade cooperation between China and Indonesia. The Round-table Dialogue between State Leader of Indonesia and CEOs from China was held successfully in the 7th China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit. And this year, the Embassy of Indonesia in China will continue to offer help for a successful round-table dialogue. In the near future, the Embassy of Indonesia in China will report this activity to the related authorities of Indonesia and timely develop a well synergy in the preparations of the Round-table Dialogue between State Leader of Indonesia and CEOs from China.
