Chairman Wei Ran Meets with Deputy General Manager of CCCC Chu Yili

On August 23, Mr. Wei Ran, Chairman of CCPIT Guangxi Committee met with Mr. Chu Yili, Deputy General Manager of Overseas Business Department of China Communications Construction Co., Ltd. (hereafter referred as “CCCC” ) and exchanged views on CCCC’s participation in the 19th China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit (hereafter referred as “CABIS”) and following cooperation between the two sides.

Chairman Wei first expressed his appreciation for the CCCC’s strong support to CCPIT Guangxi Committee and the work of CABIS, and introduced the relevant preparations for the 19th CABIS. He noted that Malaysia East Coast Railway and Kuantan Logistics Park Project in which CCCC has engaged are major economic achievements of China and Malaysia in economic and trade cooperation. CCPIT Guangxi Committee and CABIS Secretariat will actively provide a platform to ensure the smooth implementation of the projects.

Deputy General Manager Chu Yili introduced CCCC’s developments in overseas business, and said that CCCC will take the opportunity of the 19th CABIS to enhance cooperation with Guangxi. He also hoped that CCCC’s cooperation with ASEAN countries will be strengthened with the support of CCPIT’s channel resources and CABIS’s platform advantages.

The two sides also exchanged in-depth views on the construction of New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor and Port City Clusters, as well as the development of Coastal Industry Chain.

Personnel in charge of Guangxi headquarters of CCCC and the Fourth Engineering Co., Ltd of CCCC First Highway Engineering Co., Ltd, Vice Chairman Ding Yuanlong and personnel of International Convention Division of CCPIT Guangxi Committee participated in themeeting.
