Enhancing Guangxi-Vietnam Cooperation: Yang Yanyan Meets with Consul General of Vietnam in Nanning, Nguyen Thi Hong

On May 15, 2025, Yang Yanyan, Secretary General of China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit (CABIS) Secretariat and Chairperson of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Guangxi Committee, held a working meeting with Nguyen Thi Hong, Consul General of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in Nanning.The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions on jointly organizing bilateral events under the framework of the 22nd CABIS and further strengthening economic and trade cooperation between Guangxi and Vietnam.

Chairperson Yang Yanyan provided an overview of the preparations for the 22nd CABIS, emphasizing that the CABIS will serve as a high-level platform to foster greater cooperation between enterprises from both countries. Consul General Nguyen Thi Hong responded positively, expressing her full support for the CABIS’s related activities. She affirmed Vietnam’s readiness to work closely with China to strengthen business cooperation and advance bilateral economic and trade ties.

Also present at the meeting were Commercial Consul Nguyen Huu Quan and Consul Pham Duy Binh of the Consulate General of Vietnam in Nanning; Ye Yan, Secretary General of CCPIT Guangxi Committee; and officials from the Division of ASEAN Affairs of CCPIT Guangxi Committee.
