2025 Expert Symposium of China-ASEAN Business Council Held in Nanning
The 2025 Expert Symposium of the China-ASEAN Business Council (CABC) was held in Nanning on April 23, 2025. The symposium was conducted in a combination of online and offline formats. CABC Experts, scholars, and representatives from business associations of China and ASEAN, conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges on issues of common concern such as shifts in global trade changes and the development of the digital economy.
Zhao Ping, President of the Academy of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and Chief Expert of CABC; Hu Suojin, Vice President and Secretary-General of the China Association for International Economic Cooperation of the Ministry of Commerce and former Minister-Counselor for Economic and Commercial affairs of Chinese Embassy in Vietnam; Zhang Peidong, former Minister-Counselor for Economic and Commercial affairs of Chinese Embassy in Malaysia; Zhai Kun, Vice Dean of the Institute of Area Studies and Professor of School of International Studies of Peking University; and representatives from ASEAN related Guangxi business associations, shared their insights on the current China-ASEAN economic and trade situation, the development of artificial intelligence, and financial empowerment, providing intellectual support for improving the quality and efficiency of China-ASEAN economic and trade cooperation.
